Isenfluh and Sulwald

The smallest district of the Lauterbrunnen valley is the village of Isenfluh. It is an insider tip for connoisseurs, hikers and those seeking peace and quiet, off the beaten tourist track. From Isenfluh a small cable car leads up to the hamlet of Sulwald. The small cabin can accommodate either 8 people or a cow. Food and drinks can be obtained at the Sulwald Stübli in the mountain station and at the Restaurant Waldrand in Isenfluh. In summer you can drive down the forest road from Sulwald to Isenfluh on one of the monster scooters - fun for young and old! In winter, a racy sleigh ride is possible on the same route and there are various snowshoe tours. .One of the options for a good hike is to take the trail up to the Lobhorn Hut and into the wild and romantic Saustal valley with spectacular views.
