In Gimmelwald itself there are only limited shopping possibilities. You can buy various products such as cheese, milk, eggs and sausage directly from the farmer. Please follow the signs in the village on the lower Dorfstrasse. In addition, you can buy drinks, ice cream, sweets, souvenirs at the Honesty Shop of Gimmelwald Pension, the self-service refrigerator of Esther's Guesthouse and the Window Store of Maria & Olle's Bed & Breakfast. The small MischMasch Shop at the upper edge of the village (on the road to Mürren) offers a selection of homemade sweets and tea blends and handmade accessories.
For larger purchases visit the Coop supermarket in the neighbouring village of Mürren (open daily from 8-18h in the season).
