In 1856 a sawmill was built in the Sefinen valley, which is owned by a local alpine cooperative. The sawmill is still in operation today and was completely renovated a few years ago. The sawmill has always been operated with water power. Locals can have their wood cut into planks and beams here. During the summer there are guided tours to the sawmill, where you can discover this idyllic place and get an insight into the work of the sawmill.
