(open from the beginning of April to the end of October)
With its ten glacial waterfalls inside the mountain, the Trümmelbach Falls are unique in Europe. The Trümmelbach brings together the water masses from the huge glacier walls of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Up to 20'000 litres of water per second flow from this catchment area of 24 square kilometres.2The river course has eaten its way deep into the mountain over time and created the impressive gorge of the Trümmelbach Falls. The Trümmelbach Falls are also worth a trip in bad weather. Firstly, you are partly inside the mountain and therefore protected from rain and secondly, on rainy days even more water roars down to the valley.
